The 2023 China Fiber Optic Communication Yearbook Conference and Fiber Optic Communication Technology Innovation Forum, as well as the 17th National Plastic Fiber Optic Polymer Photonics Academic Conference, have successfully concluded in Jilin City!

The four-day 2024 National Conference on Plastic Fiber Optics and Polymer Photonics kicked off on January 13th in Jilin City. This conference was held from January 13th to 15th, 2024 at the Hilton Huanpeng Hotel in Jilin City, bringing together experts, scholars, researchers, and business representatives from all over the country to discuss the latest research achievements and future development trends of plastic optical fibers and polymer photonics.

The conference was hosted by the editorial board of the China Fiber Optic Communication Yearbook, the Fiber Optics and Integrated Optics Professional Committee of the China Optical Society, and the Optical Communication Committee of the China Communications Society. It was hosted by relevant enterprises such as Jilin Research Institute of Jilin University, Jilin Science and Technology Bureau, and JIANGXI DAISHING POF CO., LTD, and received strong support from the Jilin Municipal Government. The attendees had in-depth exchanges and shared valuable experiences and insights on the technological development, application prospects, and market opportunities of plastic optical fibers and polymer photonics.
